The Celtic goddess Cailleach, she is a storm and winter witch.
She can appear as a young girl, but can also transform into a veiled old woman.
Life and death are often closely linked. She killed plants but protected their seeds for new life. The witch Cailleach can help us understand that death is not final, but also represents the beginning of a new life.
It brings us the wind, the storms, snow and ice. Her face and her being embody death and at the same time new life slumbers within her.

In some myths, Cailleach is assigned to the trinities, that of the three Norns at the Urdwell of the World Ash Yggdrasil.
In ancient myths, she plucks down or goose feathers and lets them fall to the earth as snow. It rewards people who work hard and hard, but despises and punishes lazy people.

Accompanying her is a wolf on which she rides through the air, bringing snow and ice with her to crush all life. The frost spreads to every last crack on the floor when she touches it with her magic wand.
They are particularly frightening for people who fear death. Everyone who understands the cycle of life and is at peace with themselves and life does not fear Cailleach, but considers her a "friend", because death is part of life and represents new beginnings.
Made and cast from polyresin (artificial stone). The figure is fully cast, not hollow and covered with real bronze.
