Folk art - handmade from northern Scandinavia.
The natives of northern Scandinavia are the Saami, who are also referred to as rags. They still live in large parts of northern Scandinavia, such as Sweden, Finland, Norway, but also in the north of Russia. In addition to the vital reindeer herding, you can still make these beautiful leather bracelets today. With it you maintain a large part of your century-old folk art. During the Viking era, the Saami often had warlike conflicts with the Vikings. Later, however, trade relations with the Norsemen flourished, exchanging important goods in the barren areas of the north.
We are pleased to offer you these beautiful leather straps that have changed very little in the last 1000 years. This folk art is laboriously crafted by hand. The bracelets are made of soft goat leather as in the past and then interwoven with gilded brass wire. The brass wire was refined by 9 carat gold. To close the bracelet, a button was sewn on white bovine bone.
