The European boar spear reached the height of its popularity in the 16th century, when it was used for the hunting of bears and wild boars.

Although it is impossible, the boar spear to carry hidden on the body, it is nevertheless an effective weapon, even against attackers equipped with a firearm / gun / rifle.
