Cookie Cutter "Hagalrun-Crystal", made of stainless steel.
The Hagalrune (H) is the mother of all runes, it stands for destruction but also for a new beginning. The Hagal rune is a protective rune but also an attack rune. The Hagal / Hagalrune is like the hail that breaks and then opens. The Hagal rune is a "winter rune", its cold cleanses and heals with all the hardness, but it can also appear gently. It is like the soft snowflake or the hard ice crystal. The Hagalrune is the symbol of the woman "Holle", which falls on Midgad as a snowflake and thus stands for change and the beginning of a new era.
It is the eighth rune in the younger 16 Futhark (in medieval, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish Futhark), also known as the Viking Futhark or the Old Norse rune series and we also find it as the eighth rune in the 18 Armanen Futhark.
All runes of the younger old Norse rune series can be formed from the hexagon, which will not be a coincidence and will have arisen from ancient knowledge. Rune experts who have worked with the 16er, 18er and 24er Futhark know very well which power comes from the Hagalrune (H) and with which row of runes everyone can work best for themselves.
In the older 24 Futhark and others in the Gothic Futhark, the Hagal rune is the ninth rune in the Futhark. The Hagal rune, also known as the Hagalaz rune (h) does not have the typical crystal shape in the 24er Futhark!
In an old English rune song / rune poem, the Hagalrune (H) is described as follows:
Hægl byþ hwitust corna;
hwyrft hit of heofones lyfte,
wealcaþ hit windes scura;
weorþeþ hit to wætere syððan.
Translated:
Hail is the whitest of grain;
it is whirled from the vault of heaven
and is tossed about by gusts of wind
and then it melts into water.
Hagalrune (H) as the mother of all runes, as a symbol for the great mother of the god mother, who is also known to us under the name woman "Holle", embodies everything in one as the "perfect" Al, the All and EVERYTHING. Standing at the center of all runes with their various meanings and radiations of power, Hagalrune is the embodiment of the great mother / god mother!
