Beeswax tealights - 42 pieces (in aluminum tray)
Tealights (pack of 42), made from 100% pure natural beeswax.
Our beeswax candles are made from 100% pure beeswax.
For this purpose, the contaminated honeycomb plates are removed from the beehive and the wax is melted under a solar wax melter.
The solar wax melter is a box/case made of wood or metal, covered from above with a glass plate - and the whole thing is oriented towards the sun.
The wax then begins to melt in the honeycomb and drips into a collection container.
The beeswax is then poured through a cloth and coarsely filtered beforehand. The wax is then left to cool in blocks and stored.
Then the wax is melted again at a gentle wax melting temperature of about 80 degrees in a pot filled with some water (clean and lime-free), and afterwards the wax is slowly cooled again.
The heating process causes the last tiny impurities to settle on the bottom of the pot, which are then cut or chiseled off after the candle block has cooled. This process is repeated several times.
In the end, what remains is 100% pure beeswax, from which candles are then poured, pulled, dipped or twisted according to the desired shape.
That's why genuine beeswax candles are more expensive than conventional paraffin wax candles.
Our candles are made from pure beeswax and have a pleasantly soft, natural honey-beeswax scent. Beeswax candles are characterized by their delicate honey fragrance, their natural yellow color, and their longer burning time.
- Tealight size: approx. 40 mm x 18 mm
