Viking sword, 10th century

Stage combat sword forged from AISI 1090 carbon steel. The blade extends through to the end of the hilt and is then riveted. The crossguard and pommel are made of steel, and the wooden grip is wrapped in leather. The blade edge is 2.5 mm thick, with a rounded safety tip. The scabbard is made of wood with metal fittings. If desired, the scabbard can be individually decorated, for example with runes or a leather wrapping.
