Genuine natural amber. Amber is fossilized resin, approx. 50 million years old, originating from East Prussia. Natural amber comes in various color shades. Sometimes, small insects or plant particles may be enclosed within it. Amber was also popular with Germanic tribes and Vikings, among others, and was a popular commodity and bartering item.
