"Brigid" Celtic goddess of fire, figure / statue, bronzed

Brigid, Goddess of Fire and Home.

Also known as Brighid, Brig, Scottish Bride, or Bríd.

As a goddess of light and guardian and mistress of fire, she was one of the oldest, most powerful and most beloved goddesses in Irish-Celtic mythology.
Her symbol is the Brighid Sun Cross, traditionally made of straw or rushes. It was hung in the house or above the front door for protection.

Made and cast from polyresin (artificial stone). The figure is solid, not hollow, and coated with real bronze.
