As a goddess of light and guardian and mistress of fire, she was considered one of the oldest, most powerful, and most popular goddesses in Irish-Celtic mythology.
Her symbol is the Brighid sun cross, traditionally made of straw or rushes. It was hung in the house or above the front door for protection.
Crafted and cast from polyresin (artificial stone). The figure is solid, not hollow, and coated with real bronze.
