Unicorn - standing, figurine statue polyresin

For many people, the unicorn holds a special fascination and mysticism. It is considered one of the most beautiful and purest mythical creatures - presented here as a statue made of polyresin (artificial stone).

The unicorn stands for purity, innocence, freedom, beauty, magic, courage, healing, wisdom, truth, and perfection.
It is said to have a connection to elves and forest spirits - often making contact beneath blooming fruit trees (especially apple trees). It is the embodiment of invincible power and stands for good and positive values.
The medieval unicorn is a symbol of power, but also of good events, and the virginal symbol of purity. For this reason, the unicorn is usually depicted as flawless and white.
In Germanic and especially Celtic legends, the unicorn and the dragon represent good and evil - opposites that engage in an eternal struggle.
In Celtic mythology, the unicorn guards the feminine mysteries and embodies the virginal aspect of the triple goddess "Hecate".
Furthermore, the unicorn is said to have a connection to the mysterious and legendary apple isle of Avalon. Avalon / Avalun originates from the Indo-European root "aballo," meaning apple.
It has remained a mystery whether Avalon could also be Atlantis, which was destroyed by a meteorite impact (we refer, among other things, to the accounts of Plato)!
The apple tree / the apple as a fruit of love is an ancient symbol of the triple goddess. The trinities include, among others, the upper world, the earthly world, and the underworld.
The unicorn stands at the threshold of the upper world, the dragon (lindworm / lindworm dragon) stands at the underworld, and humanity stands in between.
Celtic priestesses often wore an image of the unicorn or the triskele / triquetra as a sign of recognition.
In Christianity, the apple became a symbol of sin and ruin (the so-called "fall of man" of Adam and Eve in the Old Testament)!
