Early medieval leather bag, brown kidney-shaped bag with fittings
This shapely belt bag is typical of the late Middle Ages and can be found in this form in numerous contemporary paintings and in archaeological finds. It is made of a firm yet supple greased nubuck leather and is equipped with a contemporary buckle replica. These kidney bags were particularly typical in the Late Middle Ages in the 14th and 15th centuries.
