Grim Reaper with book - "Friend Hein" candle holder, polyresin
"Friend Hein" (Grim Reaper) candle holder, depicted not as something threatening / horrifying, but as a traveler and companion into an "other world"... -
perhaps also as a helper and redeemer from endless pain and terrible illness - as a "friend," as Wulf Sörensen describes him to us.
Let us gaze here into the illuminated appearance of our friend, guardian, and traveler of all that is living and perfect.
This beautiful candle holder is intended for remembrance, not to be afraid, but to view death as an unavoidable fate as a "friend" and not as a figure of terror.
Crafted and cast from polyresin (artificial stone), suitable for wick / taper candles with a diameter of up to 18 mm.
- Width: approx. 11 cm
- Depth: approx. 11.5 cm
- Height: approx. 21 cm
- Weight: approx. 450 g.
Sold without decoration and pictured candle.
The black twisted candles can be ordered separately.
