"Grim Reaper" belt buckle, death / Old Man Death, pewter
"Grim Reaper" belt buckle / Reaper / "Friend Hein," made of pewter, suitable for belts up to 4 cm wide.
"Friend Hein" (the Grim Reaper) depicted not as something threatening or terrifying, but as a traveler and companion into an "other world"... -
perhaps also as a helper and deliverer from endless pain and terrible illness - as a "friend," as described to us by Wulf Sörensen.
Here we look upon the enlightened appearance of our friend, guardian, and traveler of all that is living and perfect.
May this beautiful belt buckle serve as a remembrance - not to fear, but to view death as an inescapable fate / as a "friend" - not as a figure of terror.
