Irish historical belt, leather, brown - "Legore find"
Early Medieval 3 cm wide Irish belt with strap end - brown.
This remarkable belt with a strap end is based on the early medieval buckle find from Lagore, which originates from Ireland and dates from the 7th to 8th century.
The original Lagore buckle featured a long bar with an eyelet and measured 18 cm. It was suitable for belts 1.5 cm wide.
The replica of this belt buckle, however, has larger dimensions of 10.8 x 4.2 cm. The strap end was crafted in the same style.

The Lagore belt buckle is now in the possession of the National Museum of Ireland.
