Chalice Tree of Life / World Ash Yggdrasil

Mimameid or Mimameidr, Old Norse Mímameiðr, is in Norse mythology, the World Tree Yggdrasil.
The Norns are the goddesses of fate. They reside at Urd's Well beneath the World Ash Yggdrasil (Irminsul) and determine the fate of humans. Their names are Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld.

The Irminsul or Yggdrasil is both the world axis and the Midnight Mountain in Ultima Thule. As the Tree of Life, it is rooted in the earth and spreads its branches to the sky. In its abbreviated form, it is the column capital of ancient temples. The left spiral represents the path from the vernal equinox to the summer solstice, the right from the autumnal equinox to the winter solstice. The three angles are Ingo, Irmin, and Isk, the three tribal gods of the main peoples. They are sons of Mannus, the connector between gods and humans. Mannus stands for man = spirit. The three lower angles are the three Norns at Urd's Well beneath the roots. The Irminsul stood at many prominent sanctuaries and was carried by the wandering tribes, the Atlantic North Sea peoples of the Haunebu, as far as the Orient, where it inspired Persians and Egyptians.
