small Thor's hammer "Nordmann", bronze
The Nordmann - Thor's Hammer is made of bronze
Thor, the strongest of all the Old Norse gods, was highly revered. God of storms and lightning, Thor slew trolls and man-eating giants, and ensured good harvests.
Thor, son of Odin and Jörð, had two sons, Magni and Móði, with his wife, the giantess Járnsaxa.
Thor rules in the hall of Bilskirnir, his palace in the realm of Thrudheim, and proudly carries his hammer Mjölnir. "Thor's Hammer" was once forged by the dwarves Sindri and Brokkr.
Thor derives his strength from his belt Megingjörð and his iron gloves Járngreipr.
Just as today, Thor's Hammer was worn for centuries by pagan people as protection from danger. Thor's Hammer is THE symbol of the pagan faith.
