War goddess Morrigan with crow, bronzed figure / statue
"Great Queen", also Morrígain, Morrígu, or Morríghan; closely associated with war, battle, and sexuality in Irish-Celtic mythology.
Besides being a war goddess, she is also an earth goddess, a fertility goddess, mistress of animals, a lover, and a witch queen.
As a triad goddess, she appears in a threefold form: as a young maiden, a mother, and an old crone. As a goddess of fate, she thus symbolizes becoming, being, and passing away!
According to legend, Morrigan raged on the battlefields and prophesied death in combat. Her totem animal is the crow. In her manifestation, she also shares many similarities with the Germanic Valkyries.
Crafted and cast from polyresin (artificial stone). The figure is solid, not hollow, and coated in genuine bronze.
