Thor and Thor's Hammer:
Thor, who was the strongest of all Old Norse gods, was greatly revered. As the god of storms and lightning, he slayed trolls and man-eating giants and ensured good harvests.
Thor, son of Odin and Jord, had two sons, Magni and Modi, with his wife, the giantess Jarnsaxa.
Thor rules in the hall Bilskinir, his palace in the realm of Thrudheim, and proudly carries his hammer Mjölnir. The "Thor's Hammer" was once forged by the dwarves Sindri and Brokk.
Thor derives his strength from his belt Megingjardar and his iron gauntlet Jarngreipr.
As it is today, Thor's Hammer was worn for many centuries by pagan people for protection against danger. Thor's Hammer is the symbol of the pagan faith.
