In this seminar, we want to reopen the almost forgotten gates to the sacred grove and reconnect with the pagan-shamanic heritage of our culture. Germanic mythology will lead us directly into the world of shamanism. We will learn about magical and healing goddesses, gods, and their associated plants. We will hear myths about the creation and order of the world, which naturally includes an otherworld. We will learn about the shamanic arts of the ancient Germanic peoples, such as the fortune-telling of the Alrunas or Völvas, the poetry of the skalds, and the animal transformations of the berserkers, and much more. Through smudging rituals, we can embark on inner journeys to reconnect with the world of our ancestors.
