Stainless steel jewelry with PVD coating.
PVD coatings are used, for example, to blacken stainless steel jewelry and are also used in sensitive areas such as medical technology and the food industry. The coating is not harmful to health!
In a high-vacuum process, hard-material coating metals are transferred onto the stainless steel jewelry by means of arc evaporation. This process enables a very thin, hard, and very firmly adhering PVD layer.

• Coating hardness is up to approx. 3500 Vickers (355 Rockwell)
• Layer thickness: 1 – 4 µ
• Coating temperature approx. 450° C
• High hardness and high wear protection
• Excellent optical finish with a smooth surface
• Excellent adhesion to the stainless steel
• Very good contour accuracy on the stainless steel
• Very clean process, without environmental impact
• Hypoallergenic and allergy-friendly

Details about the rune ring:
