T-shirt "Hawk / Bird of prey catching fish"
The eagle Hræsvelgr, also called Hräsvelg or Räsvelg, sits in the treetops of the world tree Yggdrasil, from where he observes what happens in the different worlds.
His massive wings, the beating of his wings, create the winds and storms in the various worlds. A hawk sits between his eyes.
The eagle is also an ancient Germanic/Old Norse symbol, known as a storm bird and also as a heraldic animal, emblem of sovereignty, and symbol of power and strength.
The eagle is also found in graves in the Nordic cultural area, thus seemingly having played a role as a psychopomp, guiding souls into the realm of the dead.
It is the symbol of paganism against the will to rape brought forth by Christendom for over a thousand years.
- Hawk catching fish print, approx. 8 x 12 cm.
