The open design of the tea light warmer offers two key advantages: Inserting the tea lights is extremely convenient because you don't have to push them through a narrow opening. Once the lights are lit, they need good airflow, and this warmer provides that perfectly, even for three lights.

Tip regarding the temperature of tea light candles
Tealight candles are made from a wide variety of materials, including paraffin (petroleum), stearin (vegetable and animal fats and oils), beeswax, rapeseed wax, and soy wax. The different raw materials used determine the quality of the tealight candles. High-quality tealight candles burn much more efficiently and reach a significantly higher temperature! Room temperature and fresh air supply are also important for the heat generated by a burning candle. A typical, inexpensive paraffin tealight has a heat output of approximately 30-40 watts, depending on its composition, size, and wick diameter. Stearin tealights burn at a significantly higher temperature than paraffin tealights when held 10 cm above the flame, and beeswax tealights are even hotter! Using a ceramic pot over the tealights does not increase the wattage; it simply radiates the heat more evenly.
