Centuries ago, the four-leaf clover was attributed great powers, allowing it to ward off evil spirits and protect its owner from harm. Especially among the Celts, the four-leaf clover was known for providing protection against evil spirits.
In nature, only one in 10,000 clovers is four-leafed. It is said to bring especially good luck to whoever finds it by chance. Each leaf is said to have a special meaning:
one leaf stands for faith, one for hope, one for love, and the fourth for luck!
Some also consider or interpret the four-leaf clover as a quadruped, lucky, and sun symbol!
