Dough cutter / Cookie cutter "Viking/Icelandic horse", stainless steel
Icelandic horse-shaped cookie cutter, made of stainless steel.
For the Germanic peoples, the horse was sacred. The “horse cult,” especially regarding white horses, led to careful and pure breeding among the Germanic tribes.
Complete herds consisted of twelve mares and one stallion, which were kept in sacred “temple groves.” Through this cult, a particularly select lineage of unmixed and pure horses was maintained. The number of 13 horses corresponded to the number of moons in the Germanic calendar.
