Thor, son of Odin - also called Donar by the Germanic peoples, shown here on his chariot with his goats Tanngnjostr (teeth-gnasher) and Tanngrisnir (teeth-grinder).
The rumbling of the chariot pulled by the goats was, and still is, considered to be thunder.
The thunder god Thor (ON Þórr, OS Thunaer, OE þunor, OHG Donar, Proto-Germanic *þunaraz "thunder"), the god of thunder in Norse mythology, was the first son of the god Odin (ON Óðinn). His wife is Sif (ON Sif).
Poster - color art print.
