Stainless Steel Thor's Hammer Skåne / Scania Thor's Hammer
Stainless steel Skane / Schone Thor's Hammer
Thor, the strongest of all Old Norse gods, was highly revered. God of storms and lightning, Thor slew trolls and man-eating giants, and ensured good harvests.
Thor, son of Odin and Jord, was gifted two sons, Magni and Modi, by his consort, the giantess Jarnsaxa.
Thor rules in the hall Bilskinir, his palace in the realm of Thrudheim, and he proudly carries his hammer Mjölnir. The "Thor's Hammer" was once forged by the dwarves Sindri and Brokk.
Thor draws his strength from his belt Megingjardar and his iron gauntlets Jarngreipr.
Just as today, the Thor's Hammer was worn for many centuries by pagan people for protection against danger. The Thor's Hammer is THE symbol of the pagan faith.
Same motif on both sides, front and back are identical.
The original Thor's Hammer from Skane has a smooth plate on the back.
