Viking helmet circa 750 AD

This helmet is handcrafted from iron and brass, based on an original helmet from around 750 AD.

It was found during the excavations at Coppergate in England. This was the site of the Danish Viking capital, Jorvik (modern-day York), which, during the Viking Age, was the second largest and most important city in England after London.

The helmet has a nasal like most Viking helmets, but is attributed by experts to the Anglo-Saxons living in York, who modified the normal type of Viking helmet with brass decorations.

It is not only an interesting decorative item but also suitable for role-playing games, especially for men up to hat size 62; the total height is 32 cm and the inside width (from ear to ear) is 20 cm.

The helmet weighs approximately 3.5 kg with a material thickness of 1.5 mm.
