This exceptional Viking long axe is built for the highest demands, has an impressive length of 132 cm, with a mirror-polished blade and hand-ground to an incredible sharpness.

It features a robust, approx. 25 cm long cutting edge, which terminates in two sharp horns or points. The longer upper point was typically used for thrusting or parrying, while the slightly shorter lower point served to hook an enemy's shield or to catch the opponent by the neck, arm, or leg to immobilize them.
